WHERE WAS IT? Kimberley Hall, Wymondham.
THE THEME/STYLE: No particular theme, we just went for a traditional white wedding which was to be elegant but relaxed.
BRIDE’S DRESS: By Sottero & Midgeley from Pure, Norwich.
BRIDE’S SHOES: Debut at Debenhams.
JEWELLERY/ACCESSORIES: I wore a pair of earrings that used to be my nanny's. As she is sadly no longer with us it was lovely to be able to wear something of hers.
HAIR: I had my hairdresser of 14 years, Sara Francomb.
MAKEUP: I did my own and used mainly MAC products.
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES: We got these from Coast at House of Fraser. They were a beautiful chiffon material, floor length navy dresses.
WEDDING RINGS (SUPPLIER DETAILS ONLY): Tombland Jewellers, Norwich.
GROOM/GROOMSMEN’S ATTIRE/COLOURS: Suits were hired from Coes in Lowestoft. We went for traditional morning suits which were navy jackets and navy striped trouser with an ivory waistcoat. Chris had an ivory cravat and all of the others had a navy one to match the girls dresses.
FLOWERS: By Libby Ferris, Norwich.
RECEPTION DÉCOR DETAILS: I was so happy with how everything we had planned turned out. We mainly decorated Kimberley with flowers and we had 4 bay trees with fairy lights and ivory organza ribbon to match my dress in the main corridor. These looked perfect on the day as they really softened the corridor. We also put lots of candles everywhere which just looked beautiful when they were all lit - very romantic.
WEDDING PLANNER: We had help from Sarah Softley, Softley Events. She was also there on the day to oversee everything and did an amazing job.
CAKE: Short Cakes, Norfolk.
FOOD & DRINKS: This was all supplied by our caterer Sarah Beckett-Reid. We went for a mixture of canape during the drinks reception and then a 3 course wedding breakfast which consisted of a seafood trio to start, the main was a chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella, wrapped in parma ham, served with crushed new potatoes and vegetables. For dessert we went for a trio again which was a chocolate cheesecake, lemon posset and an elderflower pavlova, this seemed to go down well with our guests too. For the evening we went for a hog roast which was supplied by Karl Graves.
WEDDING FAVORS: We gave lottery tickets for the draw on our wedding day.
HONEYMOON: Las Vegas and Mexico
WEDDING SONGS/FIRST DANCE: Jack Johnson - Better Together.
SOURCES OF INSPIRATION: I mainly used the internet and LOTS of bride/wedding magazines to really find out what I did/didn't want for our day.
A MEMORABLE MOMENT: I have so many lovely memories from the day from the morning getting ready with the girls, the first time I saw Chris as I walked down the aisle, to our first dance. But, one of my favourite memories is probably when Chris forgot his words more than once during our vows. This may seem like an odd memorable moment but so many of our friends have said after that it was so "Chris and Tori" as it really broke the ice and we along with our guests couldn't stop laughing and Chris' answer was that he "should've probably rehearsed that part"! The whole day seemed to fly by and neither of us wanted it to end. It was just perfect.
