WHERE WAS IT?
The wedding took place at Dunston Hall in the Eaton suite. We fell in love with the building, suite and surroundings straight away.
THE THEME/STYLE:
We didn’t have a theme as such but we chose different shades of purple and ivory as our colours.
SOURCES OF INSPIRATION:
I already had ideas but I also found Perfect Wedding magazine very helpful.
BRIDE’S DRESS:
My dress was a Justin Alexander design purchased from Prima Donna in Norwich. It was one of the first dresses I tried on and fell in love with it straight away.
BRIDE’S SHOES:
I was very lucky to have a pair of Jimmy Choo’s for my wedding. They were so comfortable and fit beautifully.
JEWELLERY/ACCESSORIES:
As my dress had a higher neckline I didn’t need to wear a necklace so I only wore a bracelet. This was handmade for me by the very talented Sarah Walpole, who owns Designer Tiara in Pottergate Norwich. It was exactly what I wished for and looked even more beautiful than I imagined against my dress.
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES:
These also came from Prima Donna in Norwich and were by the designer Kenneth Winston.
HAIR:
My hair was styled by Julie from 2’s Company in Sprowston. Julie has been my hair stylist for many years and I would not have trusted anybody else with my hair on my wedding day. She is very professional and knows what hair styles suit every occasion.
MAKEUP:
The very talented Nicola Dalton, who owns Ivy House on Mile End Road, did my make up for the day and also all of my beauty treatments leading up to the wedding. She is very professional and extremely talented in what she does.
WEDDING RINGS:
Dipples in Norwich supplied both our wedding bands and also my engagement ring.
GROOM/GROOMSMEN’S ATTIRE/COLOURS: The boys wore grey suites from John Fields in Norwich with grey waistcoats and purple ties.
FLOWERS:
Dunston Hall put us in touch with florist Timothy Green whose creativity was beautiful and just perfect

WEDDING PLANNER:

We had the help of our wedding co-coordinator Sarah Skedge from Dunston Hall who was fantastic in all aspects leading up to the wedding. She was very professional and helped make sure the day ran smoothly.
CAKE:
Maria Clouting made our 3 tier wedding cake for us. She was very helpful and designed the cake exactly to our request.

WEDDING SONGS/FIRST DANCE:

Our first dance was to ‘Stand by me’ by Ben E King and then we had ‘Your love lifts me higher’ by Jackie Wilson.
HONEYMOON: My husband and I had a brilliant week away in the fabulous Las Vegas. Neither of us had been before and we loved every moment of it and hope to go back one anniversary.
